Based in central London, the Major Incident Room (MIR) is the focal point for all incoming information and intelligence.

The MIR monitors the Kenova email inbox, manages telephone calls from sources and process, evaluates and directs lines of enquiry from the documentation submitted.

To date, Operation Kenova has received documentation from: victim family members; PSNI; PONI; PPS (NI); MOD; MI5; the Metropolitan Police and members of the public.

 

 

 

 

There are also lines of communication with relevant British government departments, Republic of Ireland Gardai, MI6 and GCHQ.
